Walk-in tub or walk-in shower — which is right for me?
It comes down to whether you love a bath or prefer a shower. If sitting is easier than standing and you enjoy a soak, a walk-in tub is lovely. If you shower anyway, a low-step shower is usually simpler and costs less. We will give you our honest opinion when we visit.
Will it look like a hospital bathroom?
Not at all, and this is the part people are most relieved about. You get a bathroom you are proud to show people. The features that make it easy to use simply blend in.
How long will the work take?
Most showers and baths are finished in as little as one to two days. We will give you a firm window when we see the space, and if it is the only full bathroom in the house we plan around that.
Can you work with a therapist's recommendations?
Yes, and it helps a lot. Bring any assessment along to the visit. If you do not have one, we will simply talk through how the room gets used.
Is this only for seniors?
Not at all. Anyone living with something that affects balance, strength or stamina benefits, at any age — and plenty of families simply plan ahead while they are already remodeling.
